According to Wikipedia, these are the most northerly, southerly, westerly and easterly points of the British Isles:

• Northerly: Out Stack in the Shetlands, at 60.860295°N
• Southerly: Les Minquiers Reef, south of Jersey in the Channel Islands, at 48.95°N
• Westerly: Tearaght Island, off County Kerry, at 10.65836°W
• Easterly: Lowestoft Ness, in Suffolk, at 1.7628°E

This page will simply pick a random location somewhere inside these four points. It might be land, it might be sea, it might be France (that bit that sticks out near the Channel Islands), it might be Swindon:
